Curiouser and Curiouser …
‘In our ability to rethink our lives lies our greatest power to change them. What we have called “middle age” need not be seen as a turning point toward death. It can be viewed as a magical turning point toward life as we’ve never known it, if we allow ourselves the power of an independent imagination—thought-forms that don’t flow in a perfunctory manner from ancient assumptions merely handed down to us, but rather flower into new archetypal images of a humanity just getting started at 45 or 50.
What we’ve learned by that time, from both our failures as well as our successes, tends to have humbled us into purity. When we were young, we had energy but we were clueless about what to do with it. Today, we have less energy, perhaps, but we have far more understanding of what each breath of life is for. And now at last, we have a destiny to fulfill—not a destiny of a life that’s simply over, but rather a destiny of a life that is finally truly lived.
Midlife is not a crisis; it’s a time of rebirth. It’s not a time to accept your death; it’s a time to accept your life—and to finally, truly live it, as you and you alone know deep in your heart it was meant to be lived. A warrior of light does not rely on strength alone, he makes use of his opponent’s energy too.
When he enters the fight, all he has is his enthusiasm and the moves and strikes that he learned during his training. As the fight progresses, he discovers that enthusiasm and training are not enough to win: what counts is experience.
Then he opens his heart to the Universe and asks God to give him the inspiration he needs to turn every blow from his enemy into a lesson in self-defence.
His companions say: ‘He’s so superstitious. He stopped fighting in order to pray; he even shows respect for his opponent’s tricks.’
The warrior does not respond to these provocations. He knows that without inspiration and experience, no amount of training will help him.

‘In July of 2005, Zack Weinstein was canoeing with a group of friends down the Saco River, in Maine. While jumping into a shallow part of the river, Zack broke his neck. At nineteen-years-old he became a C5-C6 Quadriplegic. In service to others facing life-altering injuries we teamed up with Zack to create “BACK IN LIFE”. Our hope is that by sharing Zack’s powerful experiences, the film may provide others with needed strength in an oftentimes daunting struggle.
Feedback:
“I think that the 14 minutes that I spent watching “BACK IN LIFE” are some of the best minutes that I’ve ever spent. I am also a quadriplegic who had a diving accident July 8, 2004, approximately a year before Zack’s. You all have a true gift and talent for capturing “the real story” in your work.
Thank You.” -Taylor Price’
Hi Jane
I saw my blog…on the site…thank you so much for posting it……I love it…..and feel so grateful for your assistance and guidance towards creating it……it’s the best……
Yesterday I bought the book Ask and It Is Given…..
So now I have more to learn and read and ponder….I love it….
Here is my thoughts on Law of Attraction…..
I’m currently re-reading the Law of Attraction…as when I first read it I hurried through it wanting so much to find more and see more…the words seem to awaken my soul and it made so much sense to me….it felt like home in thought. Learning the three universal laws and beginning to apply them to my life has been a deep awakening. Law of Attraction says: Like attracts like. Examples of this thought I see in my life daily. If I’m sad then I have sad people around me. If I’m happy I have happy people and happy times. If I feel broke then I have broke and poor experiences. Wow…if I feel rich and powerful then the sky is the limit….and my friends and surroundings reflect that which I think. From my past I have seen how I have created this in my life. I have put this into action in good ways and bad ways. I will now no longer create by default. I will chose my thoughts and guide my life in the direction I desire and love.
The second law of Deliberate Creation is where the thoughts can be seen and appear as you think and believe in them and give them attention. Recently I have had a very very very negative thought pattern towards a relationship. In looking back I can see where and when I began to have one then another then another negative thought until it became my reality. I take full responsibility for my thoughts and know that now I can create different. Shifting from one direction to another has been a challenge as the momentum of the previous thoughts were at full speed, but with each thought I’m aware of its influence on my being and I think of better thoughts. Each time I reach for a better thought and let the other one free. I will create a different relationship with the person I have disconnected with. At this time we are loved by each other and life is good. The gift of the ability to deliberately create different is beautiful and magical.
The third law, The Art of Allowing, gives me the peace of being who I am and letting others be who they are, and be, do, a have, as they wish and as I wish. Loving them and giving to them even when they cannot give or be in the position of allowing thoughts for you.
For me at this time I want to practice the things I have learned from Abraham as I desire to live a life of joy, peace and abundant love. I look around me now and see my dog, Holly, and my son, on the couch and I know my world is as it should be. I have deep love from my family and they are well. My dog loves me deeply and will grow in love for me around 3 pm as that is her feeding time, she seems to really appreciate me then and when I rub her or take her for a walk or ride in the car or to work with me….Yes I get to take my dog to work..each day…and I look around and see that I have created that and I love it….I love .. I love it….My son is 16 and we are very close….after reading this book I have new information to support him in his desire to reach all that he wants. …..
The third law, The Art of Allowing, will give me peace and security that he is here to see, feel, and learn on his terms and have an abundant life as well. I will do all that I can to give and support that goal.
I’m currently on page 90 in the Law of Attraction, and the most important thing Abraham is guiding me to think about is to pay attention to my feelings when thoughts come up that dont feel good. It’s my inner being letting me know I’m not in alignment with who I am and I can redirect my thoughts to ones that make me feel good; nothing is more important then me feeing good.
My creative workshop is a place where I can be with deliberate thought of what I want and where I want to be. In this workshop my desires are fulfilled in thought, so in time my reality will be the same.
I love love love all that I’m learning and wish for more time in the day to learn and I wish to surround myself with others who like me have come to learn of the teachings of Abraham and find that life is as it should be, full of joy and love, expansion, and exhilaration of creating more and more and more to feel good about.
Thank you Jane for coming into my life and sharing your thoughts and knowledge with me. I feel free, loved and happy….. extremely happy that we share this place and time.
